Set within the beauty of an old, very forested neighbourhood, the clients wished for a more modern, open concept interior for their older home. The beautiful new, open set of oak stairs showcase the central plan of this home on entering the front door. Removal of walls on the main floor allowed for the addition of a small powder room, and opened the space up to lots of natural light and an easy flow of movement through the living room and kitchen areas. New hardwood flooring throughout unified the new space, for a seamless appearance. The large, new kitchen serves as a great family space, with versatile features for entertaining and hosting intimate or large gatherings. The grand park-like setting of this home is reflected inside now with a gorgeous, open interior space for this family to enjoy for many years.
