This traditional style home had multiple small rooms giving the homeowner the feeling of being closed-in and restricted. Old Castle Renovations removed a long load-bearing wall enlarging the functional living space. With removing the wall, natural light flowed across the entire new main floor area. Opening up the space into a larger, main room optimized the room for multiple uses and dramatically changed the function and flow of living space. The new space merged with the adjoining rooms enhancing access to the kitchen and front entry to the home. The homeowners were thrilled to realize their envisioned sleek, stylish living area, with expanded storage for a clean design and open, inviting space for entertaining.
